Laboratory vibration test systems are typically used by product and package designers for two main applications – sinusoidal and random input testing. Inputting sinusoidal vibration energy over a predefined frequency range in effort is used to identify critical product and/or component resonances.
Resonant frequencies are where the test item or component likes to shake with more amplitude than the table itself is using to drive the system – response greater than input. This webinar will discuss sinusoidal vibration testing, show how test profiles are defined, as well as how resonant frequency is determined.
